I am sorry that this unfortunate thing has happened to you. RSD is a very complex situation and there are not any easy or short answers to your question of how long it normally takes to be cured. I know of some patients who have redisual problems indefinitely. Your answers need to come from a pain management specialist, usually a neurologist or specially trained anesthesiologist.
