fractured heel

I fell off of a roof two days before valentines day and fractured my heel. As of today, 4/16/03, my heel feels fine, it's the outside of my foot and the ball of my foot that are giving me pain. The orthopedic surgan can't find anything wrong with this part of my foot. What could be causing this pain. The swelling has just recently goon down, and I want to start walking, what could be my problem?
