Ankle support for flat feet

I am looking at the ASO ankle support to help support ankle inversion due to flat feet. Arch supports don't work that great. My 12 year old boy tried on a similar support that his older sister has. He liked it. What are your suggestions for this type of foot support? My boy weighs about 120 lbs.
