For approximately 3 months, I have experienced a burning nerve pain in my left big toe that shoots up my foot and just above my ankle. I cross my legs a lot at work and I walk approximately 6-8 miles per week in good supportive tennis shoes. If I am on my knees, resting my body on my legs, and then stand up, I experience severe shooting nerve pain in my left foot and big toe. Any ideas on what could be causing this? What I can do to relieve it? Thank you for your assistance.
