I take workout class and today I found out that someone else in the class has a plantar wart that is untreated. I searched online about plantar warts--and kind of scared myself--I really don't want a wart--from what I read--it seems like it is so easy to pass it to everyone in your family (my 1 year old!) as well as infect the rest of your body.... We don't share a locker room, no showers or moist areas, just use the same rug to work out on--but barefoot. Should I wear socks from now on? How contagious are warts--I can't imagine touching someone elses feet--what is the best prevention for getting a wart--and are they so contagious that walking on the same rug would transmit them?
