Morton's Neuromas No Surgery

Went to a podiatrist today who glued the neuroma pads in my shoes and placed a cushion between my 3rd and 4th toes. After twice weekly visits, and continued adjustments over a number of months, this is supposed to eliminate the neuroma. Have you ever heard of this technique and does it work?
