I had morton's neuroma surgery 8 weeks ago on both of my feet. My symptons were that I had severe pain between my 2nd and 3rd toes and I could not wear any type of shoe that tied (including sneakers)or was narrow at the toe area because my toes would go numb and ache. I could feel somthing rubbing between these toes and you could actually see the toes clicking. My podiatrist felt my problem may have been more of pinched nerves more so than neuromas. After several measures to get relief that did not work, I had the surgery. My pre surgery symptons have been releived but now I feel like I am walking on rocks(under the balls of my feet). I am hoping that this is part of the healing process and will go away, but I am afraid that it might be scar tissue or that the nerves are growing back. I have also done physical therapy for three weeks twice a week but it hasn't helped these symptons. Do you have any ideas or thoughts on this?
