My nephew who's 12 (soon to be 13) has ankle pain in the mornings in one or both ankles. The pain does not cause him to limp or anything, but sometimes he does take a Tylenol. It gets better fairly quickly and is OK the rest of the day. He has fairly big feet, size 13, and he's fairly tall 5'9 or 5'10. He's maybe 15 to 20 pounds overweight. He has no other symptoms, like redness or fever. What could be wrong?
