I have been haveing some pains on and of just below my ankles. It feels like a sprained ankle but it did not sprain it. it normally happens after a long rally or when i jump up for an overhead. The pain lasts about 5-7 mins then goes away after i walk it off. Its been like this for the past few months and i have not really paid attention to it until a friend of mine told me it might be plantar faciatis. If it is will wearing the ASO ankle braces help alleviate some of my discomfort? Should i get some gel pads to put into my shoes to help absorb the pain? What is a long term treatment other than rest and losing weight?
