I woke up this am with my left pinky toenail hanging by a 'thread' of skin. The entire nail came off with a gentle tug, and no pain. The bed underneath is clean and pink, but a bit tougher than the surrounding normal skin, and not exceptionally sensitive... There were no obvious indications of trouble with it, the nail looked fine yesterday when I last looked. The nail was regular in color, thickness, texture, and there was no funky smell or anything suggesting troubles. I wear clean socks, shower regularly, take multivitamins three or four days a week, drink milke nad eat meat regularly, no known diseases...
any thoughts, obviously, this concerns me.Thank you.
