Re: Broken 5th Metatarsal

: I broke my fifth metarsal on my left foot about 3 weeks ago and during the first and second week i would always wear my removable cast. I went for a checkup and the doctor said that it was healing well and it was aligned properly . During this week I started walking on it without the cast , I realized that it was painless.

: Should I be wearing the cast at all times during movement or can I take it off while walking at this stage, although the doctor says i should keep the cast on?
