Ankle sprain : question about swelling???

Comments:: 5 days ago a sprained my ankle. I went to the ER the night of the acident (it was work related) and for a follow up at a doctor's office. : My concern is that I have sweling in my foot. Not so much of the concern (swelling being normal), but when you press on the swelled area it leaves an indentation... then slowly goes away? Is this normal? It feels like there is liquid under the skin!!! Is this normal?
