My symptoms are red swelling & inflammation around the toes. These are all the toes on both of my feet. The redness & swelling only occurs from the top joint (just below the start of the nail) and extends to the top end of the toe. This is only on the top of my toes, not on the bottom or between them. The rest of the areas on my feet are fine. I haven't been able to wear tennis shoes or anything that causes my feet to get too warm, as they perspire and the pain increases. I currently reside in southeastern Wisconsin but often travel to my vacation home in Arizona. The inflammation seems to completely disappear when I am in a dry climate for a long period of time. When I return home it comes back again. I seem to have no problems walking; it's just been quite irritating. I've never put excessive pressure of them, never broken any toes, and I don't know of any hereditary problems with feet. Any idea what this could be? Thanks for your help. |
