Re: Pain under sesmoid

:
My daughter has a sesmoid fracture, Plays tennis at a college in SC and was out last school yr. We have sent her to many Drs. and basically get the same opinion that there is nothing really to do, a boot, etc., will not help and it has not. That she needs to refrain from running or exercising for a while and maybe it will go away, it has not gone away after allowing it to rest over the summer. They all say operating is not an option at her age 21. She is very upset starting into her senior yr. unable to play and is contemplating surgery. Do you have any advice I will send her any where there is some help available.

This slip-on device is a soft and stretchable Nylon/Lycra® fabric molded with a proprietary gel pad to protect the entire Achilles tendon of the foot by absorbing pressure and friction resulted from rubbing with the surface of the shoe.
