Shoes for Plantar Fascitis

I was recently seen by a local podiatrist who diagnosed my foot pain as Plantar Fascitis. I have recently been shoe shopping and am wondering if Earth shoes (www.earth.us) would be good for me to wear. Could you please answer this question and also suggest shoe brands that are good for people with this foot condition? thank you.
