I have been treated by a neuroligist for 1 year now, and still my left foot has extreme pain in the metarsal area. I have had MRI, x-rays and blood work, but we seem to be getting no where on relief. I was referred to a university for eval, but they referred to it as small nerve damage that would not get any worse. Sense then, the pain has increased tremendousely. Pain is BURNING sensation, and sharp when stepped on certain ways. Big toe is not involved, and I also am unable to spread my toes apart. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated, I have a 2 yr old, and it is hard to keep up! The pain is unbearable somedays. Thankyou Karen
