Lump in Instep - Calcified Broken Glass?

About 10-12 months ago I stepped on some broken glass; and thought I’d picked all of the pieces out. However, now I’ve got a painful pea sized lump in the exact spot (instep). The lump is getting more and more painful. I’ve tried ‘draining’ it without success. It seems kind of like a hard lump now and is ever more painful.

My questions are;
1) Has anyone else experienced same?
2) What are my options?
