Swelling on ankle and arch of feet

I sit all day, so I'm never on my feet for very long, but yesterday I went out and when I took my shoes off, both my ankle's and feet were swallon. Do you have any idea what could of caused this, no marks, and the foot is tender on bottom.. Diane

Indications: Achilles tendonitis, Acute Achilles paratendonitis, Achillobursitis, Post-operative treatment after Achilles tendon ruptures, Posterior Achilles tendon bursitis.
