I was diagonosed with a neuroma over five years ago in my right foot. I wear an orthodic in my running shoes. I have lived with the pain. Now, both feet have that neuroma pain when I wear shoes with any pressure on the foot, which includes most shoes. If I end up going the surgery route, will I have to stay completely off my feet in order to heal? Also, can walking too soon after surgery cause damage? Thanks for the input.
