Subtalar coalitions can cause pain due to undue bone growth across one or more of the three sublar facets. Injection therapy, ankle bracing etc is helpful, but at some point you should seek surgical release of the coalition. If this does not work well, STJ fusion is another option for you. I would seek professional help from an ankle spesensoredt and discuss your options based on activity and long term goals.
