TRIPLE ARTHRODESIS

I had a total left hip replacement back in August 2003 and after MAJOR complications, I was left with RSD (CRPS) in my left hip to my toes with no use out of sny of it. I have seen several speciaists and it has been suggested that I have a TRIPLE ARTHRODESIS done in about a month. The more I read about the procedure, the more frightened I become. Has anyone out there had this done and what shuld I expect? Please help.
