7 months ago I tore my big toe nail at the base and it was up like the hood of a car,the nail eventually fell off and a new nail started growing back, the last couple of weeks, one side of the nail, is red, puffy and sore, I have been applying neosporin and soaking in hot water, but it continually pains me as it appears to be growing into the skin. Should I worry about it getting worse, is it infected? Will I need to see a doctor? My sad toe needs your help.
