About 5 years ago I fractured the cuboid in my right foot. Three years later I experienced pain and swelling for several weeks in the same place with no apparent cause. After multiple doctor exams, x-rays, and an MRI, I was advised to wear arch supports. I did and the pain disappeared. The pain and swelling have returned, and once again I can not recall anything I have done to cause it. What could be causing this?
