When I order an MRI, the radiologist reads it and if I have indicated either calls me or faxes a preliminary report. Then they deliver the films and I can discuss it further with the radiologist if necessary. I have no way of knowing the reason your daughter's doctor told her for the delay. Perhaps there is a good reason.

As far as whatever she has wrong. She should be very careful. You did not indicate if she is non-weight bearing on crutches, but it probably is a good idea until more is known.
