Over the counter meds for fungus toe nails have virtually no chance of working, despite any claims made. There are many stories written about home remedies for this very common problem, but there is no published scientific evidence supporting this. People assume doctors are keeping something from them. Like it or not, drug companies do extensive testing and research before a dtug is marketed. I can't say the same about Vicks Vaporub, corn meal, bleach and vinegar. You might check Novartis' site for Lamisil(www.lamisil.com) or Dermik's for Penlac. Thjere might be a patients in need program available to you. You still would need to see a doctor to have this evaluated and possibly tested.
