Pleasant itch on soul of foot!

I have a small (1cm x 1cm) 'patch' on the very middle of the soul of my foot. Its not causing any trouble - in fact, its not itchy or sore, but it is quite pleasant to scratch!!! It is slightly scabbed, and it looks like a bite, but has been there for weeks.

Any ideas?
