Numb toe

I had an osteotomy of my right big toe a couple years ago. First joint was very arthritic from running. Now, with my big toe slightly shorter and not lined up like my other big toe. I find that shoes don't always feel comfortable. Also my toe next to the big toe can rub on shoes. I also have numbness....is this common. It doesn't hurt, but I'm hoping it isn't some form of neuritis.
