Re: ANKLE PAIN

I started running and walking in a new pair of Brooks running shoes and in the last three, four days the pain has been unbearable. It is on the inside of my left ankle between the joint and achilles tendon and radiates upward toward the knee. I have hemipalegia in this leg from a stroke 12 years ago. I have mid-foot strkie on this foot and over pronated roll as I move through the foot plant. It only happens when I use the one pair of shoes, needlas to say there gone. But how do I treat the ongoing pain and make sure it doesn't return?
