Post Bunion Surgery

I had bunion surgery about 6 weeks ago and had the pin removed after 3 weeks. I am slowly bearing weight down on it now but have noticed 2 things. One: I am unable to move my toes back and forth (especially big toe). Two: The bone under my baby toe stabs into my foot when I walk. Are these normal and when can I expect things to return to normal?
