Toe Blister

My big toe has become swollen on the left side of the nail - I touched it and puss came out. It hurts when it fills and then when I squeeze the puss out it stops hurting for a while. I checked to see if it's an ingrown nail but it doesn't seem like it. I noticed that the skin is a little raw where the nail meets it though. Is there something I can do to make it heal?
